My Two Adorable Wives (18th Part: I choose you…)

Winter is always cold and we never guess it’s gonna be hot. Also to Minho’s homelife now. Since Chan chan asked for divorced then they finally faced civil court.

“this case was actually ever put in a claim for divorcement, about 6 months ago.. Mrs Han Chan chan reported that her husband, Mr Lee Minho has made an affair to any other woman, named Shin Minhyo until they have a baby.. but we,the highest civil court, hasn’t approved it yet until case dossier really put on trial,” said the judge

“do you really admit it, Mr Lee?,” said him again

Minho bowed in his seat,”yes I do.. I make an affair with a woman named Shin Min Hyo, until now I have son,”

Chan chan kept quite for what Minho said, defencelessness with what he confessed.

“so.. in this matter also you admit your affair just because your wife cannot give you any child at all??,”

Minho nodded,”yes.. truly, we have been married for about 8 years and she has been miscarried for 6 times.. I have her medical records”

The court officer gave it to the judge..

“so.. this is your reason for an affair,”

“yes,” replied Minho shortly

“do you realize.. actually your wife can drag you to be punished?? Are you really in consciousness now for divorcing her??,”

“I guess.. I don’t have any other choice,”

“how many chances did the marriage administrative staffs tell you both to consider it??”

“two times.. with about more than 3 months spare time,” replied Minho

“is it true.. Mrs Han??,” referred to Han Chan chan

“yes,” chan chan nodded.

“so.. Mrs Han.. what is your strong intention to take this matter onto this place??”, asked the judge

“I don’t love him no more.. enough for betrayal,” replied Chan chan

“have you thought so hard about this??,”

“yes.. indeed,” replied her again

Minho looked at her from several meters,”she lies to him,” said his heart,”I don’t know what your heart’s saying now, chan chan.. but you lie to him.. why?? Or.. do you really not love me nomore??”

Chan chan stayed still look straight to the judge.

“do you both really give up with the condition so that ready to divorce??,”

“yes,” chan chan replied the judge 1^st

Then, followed by Minho, but again, he looked at her,”did she really tell it from her heart??,” said his heart.. still couldn’t believe that she had a heart to say so..all he knew, chan chan is very bland, facing everything with sometimes worrisome and depended on him a lot..

“she’s changing,” said his heart,”is it true that she’s changing??”

The court took about 1 hour more.. until the judge decided it would be continued next week.. for the final decision from both..

Minho stood in front of chan chan..

“do you really not love me nor care about me no more, chan chan??”

Chan chan smiled at him, but seemed so be forced,”yes.. I cant say more”

“ah.. okay.. I am so sorry for our last marriage, I might do many mistakes to you,” said Minho, he bowed to his soon ex-wife.

Chan chan replied his bow by also bowed to him, smiled at him and then walked away from him.

Minho saw her walking through the corridor of the court.

“we will say goodbye.. we will.. I am sorry, Han chan chan.. I really didn’t mean to hurt you,” said Minho, still looking at her.

After that court process, Minho still went to his business.. his plan built a budget hotel had begun for more than 50%.  He held meeting, talking with all his staffs, checking the reports, etc etc for what business man did..

He tried to run the business as usual..

After at 8 pm, he came to Minhyo’s apartment, not to his mom’s house..

“how’s day??,” Minhyo smiled at him, in front of the door opened for him

He came in and sat on the sofa.. laid on his head..

Minhyo untied his tie gently.. meanwhile Minho still closed his eyes and laid his head on sofa..

“umm,” he murmured,”today was very busy and hectic”

“but you are still not dizzy, right??,”

Minho nodded,”yes.. where’s Young Sun??”

“sleeping,” replied her shortly

“Miss him a lot for today,” Minho opened his eyes, got up and went to bedroom

He saw his son’s sleeping,”very cute.. Lee Minho Junior”, he smiled at him gently, stroke his son’s cheek

Young Sun rubbed his face abit after Minho stroke his cheek.. he seemed to know that his father did it.

Minhyo came after them,”Young sun.. Appa’s coming”

Minhyo stroke his cheek for several times, finally Young sun woke up.

“he might be sleepless,” said Minho

“he’s been sleeping since 3 hours ago..,” replied Minhyo

“hey.. he’s smiling at you,” said her again

Minho lifted and held him,”aah.. getting heavier and bigger.. “

Young Sun burst out, he was very happy his father held him.

“he really hopes you always hold him,” Minhyo smiled at Minho

“my precious treasure.. my everything,” Minho laughed at him.. played him..

“I feel alive when I see and play with him,” Minho kissed his son gently many times.

Minhyo smiled at him,”Minho is really good father.. lucky me and Young sun”

Minho brought his son to living room and sat on his lap..

Young sun was quite, playing with Minho’s fingers..

“I just talked with my attorney for today.. about Han’s family holding”, he started the conversation,”I must numerate their shares,”

“do you think they wanna secede themselves in this business?”

Minho nodded,”Mr Han said so last time.. so, I don’t have any other choice,”

“and.. you must floor your rest shares to public??”

Minho nodded again,”yes..that’s it”. He was busy playing with his son.

“he’s now 4 months,” said Minho again

“ah.. yes.. lookalike 7 months??,” Minhyo grinned to him

“eh hehe.. I am tall.. it’s better for him also,” replied Minho,”you know what? Eomma really was shocked when I told her that I have made Young Sun many bank accounts”

“Oh my.. Minho.. ofcourse she would be.. she is still stressed with this condition”

“no other choice.. he must have a good future..and starts from childhood,”

“umm.. what about chan chan’s jointure??”

“I have decided.. we will decide it in next court session,” said Minho.

“I am worry a lot about that matter.. because you are still her family’s relative,”

Minho was so serious about it,”yes I know.. I also feel the same.. but I will discuss it with my attorney and also with Han family”

“hey.. are you ready if someday we might have nothing??,” suddenly Minho asked something un common.

“do you mean.. am I ready if someday we might be poor??,” Minhyo smiled at him

“could be… if Han family will sue too much jointure for chan chan??,”

Minhyo smiled at him,”on the contrary… are you ready to be poor?? Because I am from rural family .. so I guess it’s somewhat usual for us,”

Minho grimed to what Minhyo just said.

“and.. you might work with my father to plow our not wide land..could you??,” Minhyo teased him

Minho grimed again to her, but Minhyo just laughed at him

“O dear Minho.. please don’t think too far about future.. I am sure that you can cope with them,”

“aeh.. but I am just worry about it,” replied him

“ya I know.. but I believe.. in this process… eventhough there might be some difficulties, but it’s gonna be okay..gonna be solved well”

“I hope.. I am too tired with this matter,”

“you know what?? My mom just called me this afternoon.. my family wants to go here.. to see Young Sun,”

Minho was surprised,”really??”

Minhyo nodded and smiled at him cheerly,”yes.. after my father heard his bubling, hahahaha”

“my.. my… your family really loves him a lot,” Minho’s eyes were very bright to know that good news

“however.. Young sun is not guilty,” said Minhyo

Minho smiled so nicely to her,”you know.. sometimes I think.. I miss having a family like yours.. so damn peace in and outside”

“we can make it if we try,” Minhyo smiled at him gently

“when??”

“umm…,” Minhyo muttered

Minho kissed her.. she was kittenish facing his kiss.. Young sun was busy bubbling..

“young sun is peeping us”, said Minhyo to him

“I don’t care.. I am always fond of you, hehe,” Minho teased her a lot

“Eomma.. I am so sorry I cant stand our marriage up,” said chan chan to Minho’s mother

Mrs Lee was very sad facing his son’s divorcement. It’s all because.. actually they are still relatives.

“I don’t understand why Minho now dares to against me… I am guilty,” said Mrs Lee to chan chan, she just could gaze.

Chan chan tried to calm her down,”it’s not your fault, Eomma… anyway, we cant stand up anymore because of me.. I cant give him any child and he wants it a lot.. this is my fate, eomma.. but I will still take courage.. I am still your niece anyway.. I will still admit you and Minho as my relatives”. She smiled at Mrs Lee.

“from the 1^st time I felt it’s gonna be disaster relationship.. eventhough I believe someday it’s gonna make sense and fine.. but then.. there comes troubles,” replied Mrs Lee..

“we mustn’t regret for it, Eomma.. I love eomma.. but in this world, I cant be with Minho forever..,” said chan chan

“he becomes protester and disrespects me,” said Mrs Lee. She really regretted why her son acted like that.

“please.. be patient, eomma.. I am sure Minho is now taking the best in his life,” chan chan still tried to cheer her up.. but it seemed not work well..

“I will never admit Young sun as part of this family,” said Mrs Lee with anger

“no, eomma.. young sun is not fault..there never has nothing to do with young sun.. he’s innocent.. he’s still your grandchild.. poor young sun if we blame for him for all this matter,”

“why do you have pity for him?? He’s lovechild,”

“eomma please.. he’s pure.. never blame for him.. even if Minho wants me to take care of young sun.. I will do it,”

Mrs Lee suddenly cried,”I am tired.. why Minho did it to us??”

Chan chan smiled so bitter ,”Minho wants his best in life.. he tries to be your one and only best son..but.. he really doesn’t consider another feelings, including mine and you, eomma,”

“that’s what I regret from him,” Mrs Lee hugged chan chan.

“I am alone.. and Minho doesn’t understand what I want,” she said again

Chan chan still smile bitter,”what can we do?? Minho has his own decision in life.. he’s not kid no more… even.. he can handle our lives.. but lucky, Minho doesn’t have any heart to hurt us more”

“I feel like Minho dump me as his mother,”

“no, eomma.. believe me.. inside his heart, he really respects you.. but we and him have different way of action and thought… so, we must separate,”

“do you think when that stupid woman took Minho from you.. you really will be glad?? I will never accept Shin minhyo.. she’s such big disgrace for me,”

“eomma.. we must accept it.. we cant deny Minhyo gave someone that I cant give to Minho.. I am very sad.. but what can I do?? Again I always ask myself : what can I do?... I cant do anything.. I am lost,”

Finally chan chan cried.. she couldn’t stand for what would be happened to her..she thought herself was very tuff, but actually so weak facing this matter…

“you don’t have to be worried for our properties from Minho.. your ex husband will give you much, and also.. my share to him is quite much, 30% of holding companies,” said Mr Han, chan chan’s father to her, in their house.

“it’s not the matter of money or jewels or my jointure from him, Appa.. you know.. I am afraid there’s no guy accepts me someday,” chan chan was so worried about that matter.. Fertility is a very important matter for women.. somehow, who guys want to accept infertile woman if he really wants any child or even children??

Mr Han sat so coldly.. he could feel what his daughter felt..he was really sick over to Minho.. he really thought his son in law dumped his daughter..so that he was very angry..

“you wont be dumped,” he tried to widen his daughter’s heart..

“can I see Minho again someday when we would be not husband and wife nomore? Can I accept him with shin minhyo??,” she finally gazed

“Minho has taken a decision.. would you drag him for any other accusation??,” said his father

“put him in jail??o, Appa.. do you think I can??”

Mr Han knew that his daughter wont have any heart at all to do it.. inside her heart and soul, she still loves Minho.

“Just because you will pull out all your share in his business so that you will drag him to the jail?? How come?? Eomma is his mom’s younger brother, Appa.. I know that you are angry with him.. but if you crash his life till the end.. then it will also impact to us,” said Chan chan again

“it seems you really still have much emotion and feeling or even love for him.. meanwhile he really hurts you a lot,” said Mr Han

“sorry, Appa.. but this is how I feel..anyway.. he ever felt my heart and life..”, replied chan chan

A week later…

“so.. Mr Lee.. we have read your file from attorney that you have been ready to manage the share between you and Mr Han.. but in this case, it will be continue to administration court.. so.. when we consider all both of your decision, between Mrs Han Chan chan dan Mr Lee Min Ho.. we will agree for your divorce,” said the judge

Minho kept quite… he just stood up and bowed..

Then chan chan also stood up..

“we-the civil court- decide… from all consideration in letter of divorce… from now on.. both Mr Lee Minho and Mrs Han Chan Chan will be not as husband and wife no more…for all jointure and treasure of both of them will be arranged and decided in administration court,” said the judge.

Minho and Chan chan bowed to that decision.

The judge and all were out from court room.. then after all were out, Minho, chan chan and their attorneys met again..

“ we will meet again next week for civil suit.. jointure,” said Minho’s attorney

Chan chan bowed to him,”as you all wish…”

“and don’t forget about the share… fill it together,” said Minho to his attorney

He nodded,”where is Mr han??”, referred to chan chan’s father

Then Mr han came into the room and sat beside Minho

“well, Mr Han.. next week we will talk about the company share and we will try to find out any decision.. perhaps, next week will be finished,” said Minho’s.

“this is the report.. you can read it at home.. it’s from dividend and also stock share,” said him again

Mr han bowed and received it.. then after had a chit chat, he and his daughter went home..

In the car, chan chan thought it was a very bad day.. she just could keep silence.. she must have accepted that decision.. she’s gonna be a widow.

At her parents’ house.. again, she just confined herself in bedroom.. thought something hard about her own future.

Meanwhile in Minhyo’s apartment…

Minho came into it, Minhyo welcomed him..

“well.. her father wants more,” said Minho suddenly and sat on sofa

“really?? Then what your lawyer said??,” asked Minhyo

“he said to me that he wants to hold for my assets more, except for the share,”

“and anyway.. that jointure was valued by him as too much demanding,” he added

Minhyo thought,”umm… what about chan chan wants??”

“she didn’t say anything.. when we signed the divorce letter up.. she just kept quiet.. also when we talked about the assets,”

Minhyo muttered,”umm.. that might take quite long then.. in fact, actually not she wants all, but her family”

“you’re right.. I haven’t visited eomma yet.. so.. I don’t know her view about it,” replied Minho

“wants some orange??,” Minhyo smiled at him.

Minho nodded,”as usual, no sugar, please”

Minhyo then stood up and made it..

“young sun??,” asked Minho

“he’s sleeping.. I just took him to hospital.. for any other immunization,” replied Minhyo

“is he okay??,” asked Minho again.

Minhyo nodded,”just go there”, asked Minho for coming into bedroom next to theirs.

Minho then came into young sun’s bedroom and back with toting him

“heat a bit,” said Minho

“yes, it’s usual after it.. but doc has given him anti fever,” replied Minhyo. She put that orange juice on the dining table

Minho was busy toting his son.. rub his back gently..and young sun was sleeping again..

“young sun.. your eomma chan wont be with us no more.. she is not Appa’s wife no more.. now your eomma is eomma Minhyo”, he said to his son

Young sun was still sleeping. Minho kissed his cheeks

“I bet chan chan will miss him a lot,” he said to Minhyo

Minhyo smiled at him,”I will never hamper her if she wants to see young sun,”

Minho then sat again on sofa, then followed by Minhyo

“you know what, honey?? I feel regret for this divorcement,” said Minho to her

“I know that you really love chan chan.. aahh.. anyway, she is really good woman.. even if I were you, I might had not let her go,”

“we are all egoists… I am egoist with you and young sun, they are egoists with their thoughts..”

Minhyo still smiled at him and stroke his cheek,”Minho is great.. you are really strong guy.. you stand up with your all problems and.. any action will take a risk..so.. we still must see long journey in front of us,”

Minho kissed her gently and then kissed his son,”I love both of you.. in fact.. if eomma wont forgive me.. I just could live with both of you and your family”

Minhyo smiled so gently to him

“tomorrow.. eomma and appa will come here..,” said her

“o yeah?? So we must go shopping for tomorrow cooking,” Minho was very glad that his parent in law would visit them

“right now?? You aren’t tired at all?? It’s 7 pm,” said Minhyo

“seoul is 24 hours city, honey.. lets go,” Minho kissed her so fast, Minhyo put her palm, dodged his kiss

“uh.. god of kisser,” she murmured. Minho laughed so loud until his son finally woke up

They went to the shopping centre…

In the grocery store, Minhyo met chan chan.. whom was coincidentally in same line..

Minhyo smiled at her 1^st,”how are you, chan chan?”

Chan chan replied her smile,”I am fine.. young sun is getting bigger”, she touched that boy

“I am fine, eomma chan chan,” Minhyo imitated little boy’s voice, meanwhile young sun just was busy bubling to them

“he’s cute,” said chan chan..

“so.. where is Minho?? You go alone??”, said her again

Minhyo shook her head,”no.. he is searching young sun’s instant foods,”

“oh.. I see,” said chan chan

“I am sorry for last incident.. about the divorce,” suddenly Minhyo said so.

“My fate,” chan chan smiled.

“I hope you will never be angry with me,”

Chan chan shook her head,”no.. I realise myself ..soon or later.. we will separate,”

“inside my heart.. I am in dilemma .. in between love him, afraid of loosing him but also …sorry.. for my possessiveness…,” said Minhyo

Chan chan smiled at her gently,”I try to understand.. and also.. are you afraid that Minho will love me much, right??”

Minhyo felt so stabbed with her question..but that’s true for herself..

“truly.. yes..,” she said to chan chan

Chan chan sighed,”ah.. that is all over.. now you can have Minho.. he belongs to you,”

“I am.. really sorry, chan chan.. please forgive me,” Minhyo bowed to her deeply eventho she was holding her son

“we don’t have any other choice, right??,” chan chan smiled at her sweetly, but cold.

Minho then came with trolley full of stuffs..

“oh.. chan chan,” he came towards them

Chan chan smiled at him,”it’s just..coincidentally meeting her,”

“it’s okay of you still wanna talk with Minhyo.. I’ll wait outside..,” said Minho

But then,”oh.. I am sorry.. I forgot to buy some oranges,”

Then Minho went away from them again.. still carrying the trolley

“he’s so mature living with you.. I’ve never seen him carrying such any trolley when we were shopping,” said chan chan

“young sun makes him like that.. not me,” Minhyo hold her son’s hand and gave his palm to chan chan

“be good to Appa Minho, young sun.. I am sure you are gonna be great son for him..,” said chan chan

“thank you, chan chan.. I don’t know how to tell about you.. but in my eyes, you are really very noble and humble woman..”, said Minhyo, she bowed again to her

“but I cant give son nor daughter for him.. that’s my biggest mistake since I lived with him,” replied chan chan

“my destiny is bad… very bad..,” she added

Minhyo couldn’t tell anything.. she still bowed in front of him

Minho saw them from several meters

“I know, Shin Minhyo.. inside your heart.. you feel very sorry for my divorcement to chan chan.. you are afraid of loosing me, but you also want me only to be yours..”, he said in his heart

“don’t bow like that, Minhyo.. I feel so embarrassed,” said chan chan

“let me do it… to expiate my sin.. my sin because now Minho is with me,” replied Minhyo

Chan chan sighed but then smiled at her,”no, don’t say that.. Minho chooses you.. you don’t take him from me.. he chooses you,”

“chan chan has big heart.. am I wrong to divorce her??,” said Minho’s heart.. he still looked at them from far.

“please.. take care of my Minho.. he sometimes fussy.. but he is really great husband.. he can’t stand for starving too long.. so, don’t forget to serve best foods for him.. he likes orange juice every morning with bread,” said chan chan calmly

“Minho also likes to kiss you, right?? Don’t refuse his kiss,” she added again.. with cold smile

“I will take care of him, chan chan.. I will,” replied Minhyo

Minho didn’t came to them..

“and.. if someday we can meet again.. admit me as another person you might never know,” said chan chan

“no, chan chan.. I always admit you as my sister,” said Minhyo

“I must vanish all memories about Minho, you and this cute little boy,” smiled chan chan again

Minhyo’s tears were rolling down her face,”please forgive me, chan chan.. please forgive me”

“I forgive you, Minhyo.. please take care.. good bye,” then chan chan left her and young sun. Meanwhile young sun didn’t understand what actually happened to them, he still was just busy bubling.

After chan chan went away from Minhyo, Minho came to her..

Minho smiled at her,”life is about choice, dear Minhyo..and I choose you.. please..dont feel guilty..,” he stroke his girlfriend’s hair

Minhyo was still sad, but she tried to smile at him..

“she’s so humble and noble,” she said

Minho nodded,”but everyone has different destiny,”

Minhyo wiped off her tears on her face.. Minho helped her..

“lets go home..,” said Minho, and he smiled at her gently
