My Two Adorable Wives (20th Part: The Betrayal of Heart)

Minho thought his problem with Han family had been over, so he registered his marriage with Shin Minhyo. In the mean time, Han family was actually still eager to take control over Lee’s family treasure by approaching Mrs Lee as Minho’s mom. Off course as fellow cousins, Mrs Lee didn’t suspicious at all to what Mr Han’s intention to her.

“I have any heard that your son will get married with that woman in this week,” said Han openingn the conversation

“yes,”replied Mrs Lee shortly,”but I promise myself that I wont come to their wedding ceremony… I ban myself to get closed to them nomore,”

Chan chan who listened to what she said was shocked and sad, actually. Perhaps Mrs Lee as Minho’s mom wouldn’t say like that.. because she knew Minho really loves his mom without reserve.

“My daughter in law is still chan chan,” Mrs Lee smiled at chan chan.

Chan chan bowed to her respectively,”gambsahabnida, Mrs Lee.. but.. it’s really sad if you cant attend to Minho’s wedding ceremony”

“I never admit Shin Minhyo as part of Lee,” replied Mrs Lee.

“ah.. anyway, isn’t it true that actually she is the devil of our relationship??,” Mr Han fished her emotions.

“Appa.. that isn’t true at all.. Shin Minhyo is a nice woman,” chan chan became defending Minhyo

“bah.. you are really maudlin and naïve woman, chan chan.. you always must remember : who leads away Minho from your hand.. that courtesan, right??”, said chan chan’s mom, Minho’s auntie.

Cha chan really gave up with her parents, she just kept quite.

“you haven’t answered my question last time,” said her mom again

Chan chan nodded to her mom,”yes.. I truly admit it”

“then.. why do you still plead for her??,” asked her mom again

“mian habnida, Eomma,” replied chan chan with weak voice

“stop being naïve.. we will give lessons to Minho.. and anyway, you don’t mind either with our plans, do you, Mrs Lee??,” said chan chan’s mom to her cousin.

“not at all.. I want Minho and Minhyo will be separated,” replied Mrs Lee.

“oh My.. how poor they are,” said chan chan’s heart,”wish.. I could tell them what this family’s plan to them”

Chan chan was really necked, after that family visiting, she called Minho, but what a pity, Minho didn’t answer her call.

She was bit worry again,”where has he been??”

Meanwhile, actually Minho and Minhyo were in administrative office to register their marriage.

Minhyo toted Young sun happily, they went back to apartment.

“ah.. I guess you cant tote him again infront,” said Minho to Minhyo

Minhyo just laughed at him,”hell yeah.. he’s getting very heavy..huff”, she sighed a bit.

Minho asked her to release and turned to tote his son,”let me do it”

“oh my.. he’s heavy,” said him again.

“are you sure that… we wont invite your mom??,” asked Minhyo.

Minho shook his head,”I guess no need.. and anyway… will she come??”

“ah..,” replied Minhyo shortly,”but I’ve told my parents”

“I don’t mind with your parents.. I admit them as mine,” said Minho, they walked out from that administrative complex.

Minhyo suddenly stopped her step,”Perhaps your mom will admit me.. you know, Minho.. I am not 100% happy.. actually I am hurt too,”

Minho then stopped his step too,”mian… but my mom is really stubborn.. I believe we can stand with our marriage,” he smiled at her.

Minhyo smiled at him back,”ah.. now I just think you must survive with all your hardships.. and I guess I support you and must try not to burden you”

“I don’t know whether Han family would take what kind maneuver next,” said Minho.

Minhyo held his hand,”I’ll stand by you…”

Minho turned his head to her and smiled at her gently,”that’s what I want from Shin Minhyo”

The day after…

Mr Roh was very angry to Minho… his share suddenly dropped. It’s never reached in Minho’s mind why that could be happened.

“this is impossible, Mr Roh.. why suddenly reduced,” Minho didn’t believe it, but the report said so.

“there must be something wrong with last finance,” he thought in his heart

“I don’t wanna argue, Lee ssi.. this is embarrassing me with this report,” said Roh again.

“I will try to find it out.. why this could be happened,” replied Minho in his phone to him.

Roh hang his phone, Minho thought hard,”what will happen?? I really don’t understand why business is getting messed??”

In his office, he thought really hard. He called all his managers to find the cause was.

“all I know that my lawyer has taken care this matter.. but why is this happened again??,” said Minho to his finance managers from many his ventures.

“well.. this is the risk of family business??,” asked his manager

“you think so?? My lawyer has taken care and all the sharing deal of property was up.. I don’t get it,” replied Minho.

“Lee ssi.. you must ask your lawyer again.. this is really something wrong,” said another manager.

Minho then called his lawyer,”I guess we are going to loose, Mr Lee,” said the lawyer

“what? Didn’t I give chan chan all that she wants, including all her family share??,” said Minho, he was really curious

“I guess we forgot.. about your mother,” said the lawyer

“you assumed.. my mom controls over my business without my attention??,”

The lawyer nodded,”could be.. “

“Oh My.. then I must face her.. why she has a heart to do it to me?? She wants me to be bankrupt and being poor??,” Minho really shocked hearing that news.

He got headache, went back to apartment with stress.

“any problem again??,” asked Minhyo, she stroke his bangs gently

“Hell yeah… she ruffled my business… I never thought of it”, Minho closed his eyes.

“gosh.. who??,” asked Minhyo wondered.

“Eomma,” replied Minho shortly

“why?? Do you think that your mom’s influenced by Han family??,” asked Minhyo

“I don’t wanna interfere but It reaches in my mind,” added her again

“perhaps not.. but my guess: yes,” replied Minho still with closed eyes.

“then I guess.. I must confront myself to Han family again,” he added.

“very risky,” said Minhyo.

Minho nodded,”but no other choice.. I don’t wanna let the problems going on too long,”

“I understand… so that you must visit her..but don’t hurt her feeling,”

“I know,” said Minho shortly, he stroke his own bangs still with closed eyes.

Minhyo got closed her face to his and kissed him.

Minho opened his eyes widely,”eh?? Do you think that .. what if I add Han family again?? But well.. actually it’s not my idea, but chan chan’s”

“later.. I guess… Han family influences your mom??,”

Minho then mumbled,”umm.. you think so??”

Minhyo nodded,”right in my mind”

“the most important is: it’s not my share, but Mr Roh and today he was angry with me,” he grimed, then,”then I must deal with mother”

“the sooner you solve it, better,” Minhyo smiled at him.

“tomorrow..so perhaps I will concentrate myself for it..,” said Minho.

“must I go with you again or??,”

Minho shook his head,”no need..but I really want you to meet chan chan,”

Minhyo was confused, why he asked her to do it. Then Minho said that she wanted to go back to him, but he considered another way to handle Han family to not push him again about her jointure. Everymonth, Minho must give her 30 to 40% of his benefits to Chan chan..and Minho thought it’s gonna burden him a lot.

“we are gonna die if you deal with that decision, Minho,” said Minhyo with a bit cold voice

“I know, that’s why I wanna meet my mom.. I am afraid she doesn’t know at all about this matter,” replied Minho, again he thought hard.

“go soon to your mom.. this must be solved,” Minhyo reminded and Minho asked her to accompany him.

“so.. exactly what will be your purpose when I meet chan chan??,”

Minho mumble,”umm… perhaps chan chan will consider herself again about that jointure.. I am thinking hard for the 1^st time I must gain my profit then later I promise her I will give her regarding to the contract,”

Minhyo then also mumbled, she thought it’s gonna be hard, because Han family still didn’t clean their hands off to Chan chan. But anyway, she would try to help that woman to understand Minho’s position right now.

“anyway I really appreciate her kindness if she will defer her demand to me,” said Minho so seriously.

“I will try to make an appointment to meet.. I’ll try my best,” said Minhyo.

“umm.. don’t tell her that.. we are gonna get married.. promise me,” said Minho, still serious,”I am afraid she gets hurt”

Minhyo smiled at him and she understood what Minho wanted. So she soon called chan chan to make an appointment to meet.

Meanwhile Minhyo agreed and finally meet chan chan, Minho visited his mom lonely. He didn’t want Han family interfere his business.

“I am so sorry, Eomma.. I come here again.. to ask you about our family business,” Minho opened the conversation carefully, he didn’t want to offend his mom’s feeling.

“talking about shares??,” asked his mom coldly.

Minho nodded, then he told his mom about Mr Roh’s investment share that reduced straight made him angry. His mom straight to the point said yes.

“it’s lesson for you,” she said

“but Eomma…I got trouble… pardon me… does Han influence you?”, Minho really bowed to his mom with respect

His mom was quite for a while, he still bowed,”please Eomma..i beg you…if this will be several times occurred.. I will be bankrupt.. Chan chan will have 40% of my benefits.. it’s really burden me.. then when I know Mr Roh got trouble with this share.. I don’t think I will think much better for next step of our companies.. please understand me, Eomma”

“will you forgive me and please pull out the trade off.. so that I can concentrate myself to develop and proliferate our businesses??”, Minho still begged to his mom.

Mrs Lee’s face really unsatisfied with what her son said,”why are you so egoist since you know that woman, huh??”

Minho still bowed saying,”Mian habnida, Eomma.. I am not egoist.. in this case, Han family is egoist.. I cant imagine if they take away my profits with Mr Roh and other investors.. do you think we can be trusted, Eomma? Business isn’t just about profit, but also trusteeship,”

“don’t preach me about trusteeship,” replied his mom grumpily,” you for the 1^st time distrust me,”

“Mian habnida, Eomma.. please trade it off,” begged Minho again.

Mrs Lee stood so straight in front of Minho,”it’s all because of you… it’s all because of you.. embittered for marrying that silly woman..”, then she cried in deep..

“Eomma.. please.. I wanna end this war.. I have no intention to hurt anyone else.. I beg you again.. please end it all,” Minho propped up in front of his mom’s legs.

Mrs Lee still kept quiet. She didn’t say anything nor, just with flat expression.

Minho was getting so worried his mom would hate him a lot.

“what should I do so that her stubbornness reduced??,” said his heart.

“Eomma.. actually.. what do you want for me so that.. you have a heart to do it all?? If you tell me.. and order me.. I will make it for you,” said Minho whilst still bowed.

Mrs Lee kept quiet again…then..

“simple…just never show that woman to me everytime you will meet me,” her voice was so cold.

Minho sighed, he never was been refused so hard.

“okay, Eomma… I will…but I want again: please don’t interfere my business…and anyway,Eomma…this is all actually for you…because it’s father’s…I don’t want Eomma cant grab any penny at all,”

“but again.. Eomma.. how do you feel with Young Sun??,” asked Minho again

His mom stood up, just kept quiet and left that family room.

“Eomma.. wait,” Minho wanted to restrain her.. but his mom didn’t turn her body to him at all.. he understood.. she didn’t want to speak any words at all.

He was glued, then after several minutes,”Why even with Young Sun.. you are still numb with him, Eomma?? Young Sun is innocent”

Then he left that house, returned to Minhyo’s apartment

“Eomma agrees to not interfere my business again.. she will hand all to me.. she wont listen to Han family again.. but she still doesn’t accept both of you”, Minho laid his body to sofa.

“umm,” Minhyo just mumbled

But Minho convinced her that they would get married, Minho didn’t care about his status no more, he believed they could be together in marriage beneath.

“I will try my best to prove that I can be her very good daughter in law,” replied Minhyo confidently

Minho huddled her,”I know that Eomma is very stubborn.. but I am stubborn too with my life choosing you.. and I wont give up..”

There.. next week.. Minho and Minhyo finally got married.. They soon registered their son to administrative.

“one thing is done..,” Minho smiled at her. Shin family came to Seoul, they had their dinner together.

“haah.. finally you are his legal wife,” said Minhyo’s mom. Minhyo just could smile.

Minho was actually felt a bit offended with his mother in law, but he tried to calm his emotion down. He just bowed to her,”Mian habnida, we just newly could do it”

Shin spoke,”it’s alright .. I could understand it.. but lucky, Young sun has got administrative number”

Minho bowed to his father in law,”yes, father.. we are glad.. because he’s my one and only inherit my family”

“and.. why did your mother not attend it??,” asked Minhyo’s mother.

“Eomma,” Minhyo tried to cut the conversation but Minho gave a sign by his hand to restrain her emotion.

“ah.. mother.. she is very busy.. anyway, my mother also takes care some businesses so that she called me she cant attend… it’s okay for me,” replied Minho softly.

Minhyo’s mom sighed, but then she told Minho that they are many people inside on its surrounding, but again, she thought his mom really a woman that didn’t care about her daughter nor their grandson. Minho tried to platitude, hiding his sadness. Minhyo held his hand and stroke it.

“I know that you are so offended with my mom’s words… I am so sorry,” said Minhyo at night.

“I am..but I am trying to relax,” replied Minho. They were at his hotel that night. They just sat on the balcony and relaxed.

Minho held his hand,”my will to get married with you is fulfilled now…I am glad” then kissed her.

“what important thing is the next,” replied Minhyo with soft voice.

“yes, you are right… but.. I am so sorry.. today my head has been spin around chan chan”,

Minhyo wasn’t so surprised about it, she knew actually he still loved her, anyway.

“but.. don’t show it infront of my parents, please..i don’t want they feel under ..otherwise.. I will be very sad,”

Minho hugged her,”sorry…”

“I don’t know why I surrender mylife in your hand..but lately I think: is this the best decision for me??”

Minho still hugged her,”I am greedy”

Minhyo laughed at him, released his hug to her,”oh yes, you are, hehehe..and tricky also..haaahh”

Minho just sneered at her,”sometimes I use it to handle many things”

“but Minho…swear ..promise me…that… I am gonna be the one you love,”

“are you afraid that…I will leave you someday??,” said Minho with his deep eyes.

“frankly, yes,” replied her shortly

Minho hugged her,”I don’t want…in our happiness moment…we think bad about ourselves…whether I am thinking about chan chan..and you think about your worrisome..,”

Minhyo hugged him so tight, Minho just let her hugged himself.

“ah…do you think…that we can walk through this life together?? The more I walk, the more difficulties seems come to me repeatedly”

“and…do you not regret living with me, right?”

Minhyo shook her head, but then, Minho felt something so warm, she cried.

“are you crying??,”

Minhyo just nodded, then,”behind my braveness.. I hide my fear”

After several days… Minhyo met chan chan..

“chughaeyo…for your marriage with him, Minhyo,” chan chan smiled at me.

Minhyo was silent for a while, that made chan chan so worry.

“wae yo?? Museun il-iya?? ,” asked her

Minhyo sighed,”ah.. Minho asks you, you are fine, right???”

Chan chan nodded,”I am well…send my regards to him”

“chan chan… do you…miss him??,” Minhyo smiled at her but bitterly sounded.

“Minhyo…what’s happened?? Ah…yes…sometimes I am still thinking our past,”  Chan chan smiled at her too

“what if….,” Minhyo abit doubt to tell..

“what is it??,” chan chan became wondered.

“umm…,” Minhyo muttered,”but promise me.. this is just between you and me”

“okay.. I’ll promise.. btw, this is just about Minho???,” Chan chan’s sight was very bright.

“ah.. yes.. btw, chan chan.. do you still love Minho, right??,”

Chan chan nodded, her act abit was alike childish,”yup.. ah.. but.. does Minho still love me?? I really love him a lot because he saved me and my family… I ever got married with just 3 months, but then my ex husband went away without any trace.. we are very ashamed.. but then my family match made me with Minho.. I felt was helped by him a lot..”

“ah… I am so sorry, chan chan.. anyway, Minho is still confused, actually about the divorce”,

Chan chan muttered again,”ah… but several weeks ago, Minho was very angry with me and last time he said to me that he wants to be free and just think about his life with you”

“ummm.. sometimes I find Minho is still childish.. ah… you know his characters,” Minhyo laughed so loud at her. Chan chan replied with her smile.

“yes, hehe.. and he likes to be served well,” replied chan chan with chuckling.

“and… he still wants to be with you,” said Minhyo with smile.

“ah… really?? But how come?? You are married with him and I cant enter his life no more,”

Minhyo then leaned on her own chin,”bet… he still wants you to be his wife”

Chan chan choked with her soda pop when she heard it,”Moeus?? Really??”
Minhyo smiled at her and nodded,”yes.. he told me last time..”

“are you… not jealous at all .. when he told it to you??,” chan chan then put her glass of soda and seriously staring at her.

Minhyo shook her head, but then,”ah.. okay.. actually very jealous.. but then I realise.. up till now.. that I’ve taken him away from you,”

“oh my… this is all my fault.. he wants child and I cant give him any,” replied chan chan,”then.. eventhough my heart very hurts… I must accept his decision… “

“I feel very guilty after he is with me.. ,” said Minhyo with weak and tremble voice.

Chan chan smiled at her gently and stroke Minhyo’s hair,”I .. I actually in between sad and glad. Sad because finally I separate with Minho.. glad because he meets good woman like you.. and you have given what he wants,”

“would you be.. his 2^nd.. someday??,” asked Minhyo, she held chan’s hand..

“please.. actually Minho wants you.. but.. he still search for a good timing,”

Chan chan kept quite, she took a deep breathe,”oh no… this is getting complex”

“yeah.. but promise me.. that you will accept Minho again.. eventhough step by step,” said Minhyo, still held her hands.

Chan chan then smiled,”ah.. I will think.. for now on.. last time I asked him to comeback.. but he said later.. he must have done his business … my family gives him lessons.. I am afraid he will be bankrupt,”

Minhyo leaned herself on chair,”hell yeah… we are in bankruptcy… I actually wanna be angry with your family, chan chan.. but I am sure Minho could upright and develop his business again.. he’s clever and has many strategies for it”

“I am sorry… but I will support Minho anyway.. if he needs me,” smiled Chan again to her.

“but promise me, Minhyo..,” she added again.

“what??,” Minhyo up straight her seat.

“promise me.. that…,” chan seemed a bit doubt,”promise me that he will have more nights with me”

Minhyo didn’t answer for several seconds, then,”okay… gwaenchanh a.. I promise”

Chan chan smiled at her,”gomawo…I keep your promise”

Minhyo went back to apartment as usual, she just kissed Minho and then tried to lullaby Young Sun so that he could sleep faster. Minho caught a weird thing inside her heart.

“what’s up??,” Minho hugged her, set his piggyback.

Minhyo just smiled at him,”I am tired, want to sleep early,” she lied to him.

“are you sure??,” Minho still hugged her from back,”your body is a bit cold”

“ah.. nothing.. I am fine, Minho,” then she turned her body and kissed Minho so sweet.

“how is your work.. are things getting better??,”

Minho nodded,”ye.. and it’s because you”

“I’ve met chan chan and she was very glad knowing you are fine”, she smiled at him, sat on his lap.

Minho was very glad,”oh yeah?? Then.. you asked about our last conversation??”

“ummm… yes,” she smiled again

“ah… but perhaps I can love you only.. I don’t know my mood right now.. I am dizzy with business,” said Minho seriously, he released his hold to her.

Minhyo asked him to sit down beside her,”so..??”

“and.. umm.. so, I must be busy with it, you and young sun..chu,” he kissed her fast.

“Minho.. she loves you a lot,”

“I know.. ahh… later let time answer it, anyway..,” replied Minho

Minhyo just could smile.. she imagined that Chan chan must be very glad, but she still didn’t know what actually Minho’s feeling about chan chan..
